Marketing Director for Studio + Network
Location: Los Angeles strongly preferred; Remote considered

Salary Range: $90,000 – $100,000
About the Role
Companion Arts is seeking a strategic and creative Marketing Director to lead marketing, social media, and audience growth across our portfolio of media projects. This role is responsible for building Companion’s consumer brand, growing engaged audiences across platforms, and ensuring cohesive, mission-aligned storytelling.
A core responsibility of this role will be building Companion’s consumer brand on social media through original content creation and sourcing content that lend itself to Companion’s mission. You will be tasked with growing audiences across TikTok, Instagram and other platforms by determining overall goals, setting milestone OKRs, and then crafting and implementing marketing plans to reach the designated targets while regularly tracking and reporting on KPIs and key insights.
You’ll work closely with leadership and creative teams to set marketing strategy, execute campaigns, and measure performance across social and digital channels.
Primary Responsibilities

Develop and execute marketing and audience growth strategies across Companion projects.

Grow Companion’s brand and communities across platforms including TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook.

Set marketing goals and OKRs and create plans to achieve them.

Oversee content distribution, social media scheduling, and audience engagement.

Collaborate with production teams to align creative output with effective content strategy.

Manage contractors, vendors, and external partners as needed.

Track performance, report on KPIs, and manage marketing budgets.

Support new show launches, products, and subscription initiatives.
Minimum Entry Requirements
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media Studies, Business, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience.
Experience & Skills

5+ years of experience in marketing, digital media, or audience growth.

Strong knowledge of organic social growth strategies and paid marketing tools (Google Ads, Meta Ads, etc.).

Strong knowledge of social media platforms, content creation, and social media management best practice for YT shorts, TikTok, and Instagram

Excellent communication, storytelling, and organizational skills.

Experience managing multiple projects and collaborators.

Additional experience with PR, live events, and other go-to-market tactics is preferred.

Sales & Operations Coordinator (Entry Level, Remote)
Location: Fully Remote

Salary Range: $50,000 – $60,000
About the Role
The Sales & Operations Coordinator is an entry-level role supporting the advertising operations of Companion Network and Companion Arts. This position is ideal for someone early in their career who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and interested in the business and operations side of podcasting and media.
In this role, you’ll help manage the day-to-day execution of podcast advertising campaigns, working closely with advertisers, podcasters, producers, and internal leadership to ensure campaigns run smoothly from start to finish. You’ll become a power user of our podcast advertising platform (Liveread) and play a key role in keeping ad schedules, assets, reporting, and revenue tracking accurate and on time.
This is a fully remote, collaborative position with strong opportunities to learn, grow, and take on increased responsibility as the network scales.
Primary Responsibilities

Support the execution of podcast advertising campaigns from insertion order through campaign completion.

Assist with processing insertion orders and entering campaign details, schedules, and inventory into Liveread.

Track ad inventory availability and help maintain accurate show schedules.

Serve as a liaison between advertisers, sales partners, podcasters, producers, and editors to ensure clear communication and timely execution.

Distribute ad copy, talking points, brand guidelines, and creative assets to production teams

Coordinate host samples, product shipments, and other materials required for ad reads.

Help ensure ad specifications, timelines, and brand requirements are met.
Perform quality checks on ads and episode placements before final approval. -
Track ad delivery and assist with weekly ad checks and monthly reporting.

Maintain organized records related to campaigns, inventory, revenues, and billing.

Support accounting and finance processes related to ad sales, including invoicing and revenue tracking.

Assist leadership with improving workflows and operational processes as the network grows.
Minimum Entry Requirements
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Media Studies, Business, Marketing, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience.
Experience & Skills

0–2 years of experience in media operations, advertising support, sales coordination, or a related role (internships and relevant coursework welcome).

Strong organizational and time-management skills with excellent attention to detail.

Clear written and verbal communication skills.

Comfort learning and working in digital tools and platforms (experience with ad platforms, CRMs, or scheduling tools is a plus, but not required).

Interest in podcasting, digital media, advertising, or media operations.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced, remote environment.

Proactive, dependable, and eager to learn.
